High Rise Florals

When I'm not busy creating textiles, I really enjoy planting and nurturing a garden. The only issue is, I live in an apartment building. Challenge accepted. I've managed to grow a variety of zinnias in the summer months and ranunculus and anemones in the winter. If you don't already think I'm crazy, I also have seven lovely house plants scattered across a bookshelf and a fresh vase of flowers on my kitchen table at all times. Flowers and plants have the ability to create positive energy, especially on gloomy, uninspiring days. This assortment of gouache paintings and repeat patterns embody the upbeat energy that you would find in my floral filled apartment.
